We loved staying in this hotel! Our room was on the 22nd floor with gorgeous views of the city. The service is great, very clean rooms. Being able to spend an evening in the sky bar overlooking the city was great. Excellent transport links to both the airport and the city.

Modern design rooms, friendly staff, nice view, nice skybar, close to metro to city - 10min. Otherwise, a bit isolated. Food at the hotel is overpriced

After seven hours Copenhagen welcomes us with bright sunshine. We exit the baggage claim and literally bump into our friends from Sweden. They own a home across from us in Hollywood, we knew we would miss them this trip but never guessed that we'd meet at the airport. We chatted a bit they went off to catch their flight and we headed to the hotel' …

... waited some more before catching the next train leaving at 17:55, finally reaching Oslo a bit before 22:00. At least it gave us time to contemplate and for Tom to catch up on some of his outstanding "to dos".

Fortunately our hotel, the Rica, was just across the road from the Central train station and they gave us a suite! What a pity we had so little time to enjoy it. The bedroom was small, with the obligatory TV, the Queen-size ...

... Anonymous, credit crunch anyone?)... Next door to it is CHRISTIANSBORG, which in the sprawling yard looks positively closed. After an outdoor round, though, I realise that the main entrance closes automatically after each guest making it look like it's closed - not so clever. Anyway, I buy a ticket for the Representation Rooms and get blue plastic bags posing as overshoes for free. While a brilliant way of saving on the cleaning and preserving the wooden floors (and I might ...

... were in a bad movie. There were metal trash bins for fire pits, graffiti, and just random stuff that looked the world was ending. We were able to spend thanksgiving with at least one family member. We went to Michelin Star restaurant with a 7 course tasting and wine pairing. There was also a 7 appetizer spread before this ...

... I was told is not to be trusted to lift living beings. After winding my way up the narrow staircase, which can be heard through the entire building, especially at 2 am on a Saturday, I thank the architectural gods that I do not live on the fourth floor. I actually could not have gotten any luckier with my living placement! For someone who has never won a single raffle, lottery, scratch card, or "How many ping pong balls are in this jar?" contest in her life.... I believe ...
