We loved staying in this hotel! Our room was on the 22nd floor with gorgeous views of the city. The service is great, very clean rooms. Being able to spend an evening in the sky bar overlooking the city was great. Excellent transport links to both the airport and the city.

Modern design rooms, friendly staff, nice view, nice skybar, close to metro to city - 10min. Otherwise, a bit isolated. Food at the hotel is overpriced

After seven hours Copenhagen welcomes us with bright sunshine. We exit the baggage claim and literally bump into our friends from Sweden. They own a home across from us in Hollywood, we knew we would miss them this trip but never guessed that we'd meet at the airport. We chatted a bit they went off to catch their flight and we headed to the hotel' …

Danny Kaye sang it, and I've always wondered if he was telling the truth. I'm talking about, 'Wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen'. Are the two 'wonderfuls' an overstatement, or is Copenhagen really 'wonderful, wonderful'? Here is our experience...

... to make it obvious that this was a building full of wonder. At the centre of the building is a room with a high domed glass ceiling, the room is filled with plants and stone water features. Other rooms contain sculptures in a variety of stone from various periods, although there is a curious abundance of disembodied heads. There is also a beautifully bright and spacious concert hall. Should I ever find myself in Copenhagen again, I will ...

... just as we were heading off. We went past Amalienborg Palace, the Little Mermaid, through the canals built by King Cristian IV I think, past the Christianborg (the old palace) and now the Royal stables. We went under many very low bridges. The boys spent a lot of the trip seeing if people would wave to them. Lots of fun when many waves were returned. We hopped off near the city walking streets and made our way through the city to Tivoli. On the way we had some stops in the ...

... and there is a 7-11 on every corner here too) Copenhagen is so different from the US in that it is much more relaxed; nobody rushes or honks their horns. It is not overcrowded or overwhelming but very peaceful everywhere we go. I am incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to be here for 4 months and look forward to sharing the rest of my adventures with you all! Thanks for hanging in there (for those who did) for this long post and hopefully you will hear from me ...
