... after a short wait I am ordered onto the ship and unlike normal I am parked up between the cars. Normally bikes have their own bike park area.

Bike tied down and its now up 4 long floors of steps. Its at times like this carrying these boxes that one realises just how much weight that poor bike really is carrying.

... with some detours. I walked along the canal and through some restaurant districts, I saw the Hard Rock Cafe for this city at least. Once I got to the Anne Frank house it was kind of somber, it is actually the house that they stayed in here in Amsterdam and hey have done their best to preserve it. ... 6pm we met a friend (David) from the UK for dinner. David has been working in Amsterdam for 5 years, but unfortunately his wife has been unable to find work here so she is still living in the UK. Luckily airfares are very cheap here so they are able to see each other regularly. It was great to catch up with David after 8 years. The steakhouse he chose for dinner was excellent. Any way we head for Schiedam avery old village interesting houses .we then head for the town of Delft small canels picturesque street ,alleys and bueatiful churches one that you could climb to top 420 stairs very steep
Then on to Delft factory where the famous Royal Delft china made really interesting
Back to boat and dinner cruise to Dordrecht , short walk of city in evening

Don't get me wrong...this seems to be a great city. Its just that being here means that our trip is coming to an end. We docked with a bang, literally, about 2 o'clock this morning. Our one real complaint about this cruise is that we were disturbed a lot duing the night.
