Caught the tram down to the museum section of town. All the major museums are located in the same precinct. We went for a walk around Vondelpark, a lovely park which until recently was private land.

Then of to the Concert Gebouw concert hall for a free lunchtime concert. The Flex Ensemble played a piece by Gabriel Faire in the small concert hall. It is circular and acoustics were good. Very enjoyable.

... much like a bathtub attached to a beautiful old building. Sometimes the idea of “new” for the sake of “new” is pretty silly. Can’t say I dig the bathtub building, although it is kind of funny.
