On a camel !

For the next two days we will be surrounded by typical desert scenery - dunes, dunes and more dunes. As well as providing stunning scenery, it supplies endless entertainment in the largest sandpit in the world!
We start our camel trek following the route along the Oued Draa to the well at Oued Naam, where we will settle into our next camp

Oh, did I mention we were climbing this whole time?? The higher we got, the narrower the road got. Did I mention we were zig sagging up this mountain too? The lanes would at best allow two cars to pass each direction – provided one of them was willing to put two wheels into the shoulder! we would catch up with a car in front ...
Camel Ride in Desert; Driving Back to Ouarzazate

Six is not enough for me
... but at one point I almost let slip “Dude how many times are you going to touch my bread?” When politely inquired what type of meat was served (also a frequent question to identify the mystery meat) we were told Grand Poulet. No, not turkey, not ostrich, not chicken (poulet) but grand poulet. I’m not 100% sure, but perhaps we ate big bird.

From our restaurant we had a ringside view of the main drag and hence we caught a glimpse of the Royal motorcade as it swept by in a flash, a blur of black BMW SUVs. Much excitement & sirens but I doubt that anyone caught more than a shadow of the much loved monarch.
