Great to get back on the bike today, er um for about 10 minutes. The temperature rose to 42.5 in no time and our Rukka textiles are not suited to this, we were literally baking inside our gear. Reluctantly but necessary, I took off my jacket and rode in a t-shirt for the first time ever, it was bliss but sooooo unsafe. A waterfall spouting ...

After hiking around, we went back to the van and continued our ride to Fethiye. It took about 3 hours to get there, but was a great drive. It is very similar to Big Sur - roads along the curves of the mountains with precipitous drops to the ocean. The only difference is that the ocean is an amazing aquamarine color.

We stay in Fethiye for the next two days so will have more to report then!

Almost every single sentence he passed to us typed on his smartphone screen made no sense in English at all. After ...

... proved more scary than the paraglide! Running off the edge of a mountain is an exhilarating experience and the sunset views of the lagoon, islands and mountainous landscape was inspiring. We celebrated safe landings with another cocktail and then went to chill out at the campsite to celebrate Bob's birthday with cake and lentil tagine (which blew out brains ...

... of a goat (no, to all of you dirty minded people out there!) – which took about 6hours – so much thanks to all of them!!

Then I decided that it would be a good idea to get some adrenalin going so drove up a mountain (6,000 ft) to paraglide off of it!! A little bit of a hairy start as every time we tried to run down hill the wind sent us flying backwards in to the gravel hill and even tangling the parachute with the bloke next to ...
