Our free day in Antalya, yeah! We got up and had a relatively leisurely breakfast for us, 8am. After a bit of organising we headed off to explore the old city of Antalya which is about a 10 minute walk from our hotel. We left the hotel this morning to head to the white terraces of Pamukkale. By the way, I won the battle with the hotel - yes, one up for the tourist! The white terraces at Pemukkale are made of white calcium carbonate, or travertine, a kind of limestone. This morning we walked down to the Port area with stunning views over the water to snow capped mountains from the Taurus range.

Lots of locals and tourists around as it was a lovely sunny day. Heaps of cafés and restaurants. We walked around the water for a while and sat in the sun.

Antalya is a lovely city - very laid back and a nice vibe about it. The sun helps!

Met some cool dudes from London Targ and Andre, went to Bull Bar and the hostel owner gave me a lıft home on hıs scooter and bought me an awesome kebab home, possıbly the best one ı've had sınce the start of my trıp.

Anyway we arrived at our accommodation at about 5.30pm and quickly found our room which were bungalows by the trees.
