    ... roast meats, pizza, salads and an assortment of sandwiches/breads. The food we get at diners/service stations in Australia just doesn't compare, apart from Jaegers at Tailem Bend who do great food. Anyway, we left Italy with a full stomach and several kilos heavier!     Me: hi all, so Nice is really nice. I love it here. Amazing food - I have eaten my body weight in mussels and Parma ham ;) not together but at least one in every meal so far. The beaches are incredible but as a weekend there are pretty packed. We had a day at the beach yesterday (we got Adam a umbrella to sit under ;)) which loved to no end. To water is crystal blue and beach was sandy. Last night we again ate some amazing food/cocktails and with that the night was over. ...

    ... waiting for a McDonalds to open so we could let Andrew know that we were safe. We got to the river and watched the sun come up over the city skyline. Samuel got to explore along the river on a rental bike. I roamed at my own pace. We were due to catch the train to Bordeaux at 2.00pm so we managed to squeeze in a few more old churches and buildings.
