We found our lodging for the night, a Hampton Inn on the south side of Barrie. Now, the restaurant recommendations. It was still raining . . . and although the temperature had risen to 57 today, it had dropped to 53 and was windy and raining. That drove the dinner choices to something reasonably close to the hotel.

... was actually the tip of Beausoliel island, and still the national park. We first paddled and swam ashore and bushwacked along the shore. Some very nice lookouts and scenery. We swam from island to island, exploring each one, and finding lots of frogs! At one point, we found a little area and every single step we took, caused hundreds of frogs to jump! Big ones, ...

... did, and we got the mast up!
We still slept on the boat at the marina, but left early for a beautiful anchorage where we could get organized. I took the boys stand up paddling to a shoal where we climbed on the rocks, and got a little refreshed. Later, we went to the marina, where Giselle and Jeff have their sailboat, and we ended up spending the day with them. There is a beach and playground next door to them, which was great for the kids. Giselle and ...
