    Gemma and Chown headed off to a wedding leaving Knaps and I to venture into what can only be described as hell on earth, Blackpool. Imagine a town of Chavs but with all the other Chavs in the country coming in as well, for hens and bucks parties and just to get hammered. We drank for 15 hours it was fun.     Woke up in an ibis hotel coz Knaps and I had split up and she had the keys. Got back to house and then left at 11am for the North. That was 7 hours ago as I type this and it is a 3 hour drive normally. There was an incident on the freeway and they just closed it?!     ... very difficult on road bikes. We have cut down on the luggage and couriered 2 panniers to meet us in Copenhagen. Rodney took the bulk of the rest of the luggage in the remaining 2 panniers. The reason for this is that the gates across the cycle paths are very difficult for bikes with panniers and need 2 people to lift the bike through.
