    ... of the Bulge. We saw several of the towns that Uncle Dave was in. On our way back to Bastogne to drop off our guide, we made a small detour. We drove through Grand-Halleux to see a small memorial dedicated to his regiment, the 291st Infantry Regiment of the 75th Division of the United States Army. What a fitting way to end this day of the tour!

    ... bus. sorry but we were 2 stops too early, walked to the centre of the city , found the tourist office after searching for half an hour or so. All good once we visited that, received some good maps with very good indications where to walk. They showed us how to do the city walk, which we did. This only took about 2 hours and was absolutely beautiful. So much history to look at. The wall build around the old city is massive and makes you wonder how this place was invaded so ...
