... very patient with other people in the car. Anyway we got there. The weather was not ideal for much exploring but did a quick look around and had lunch then onto Vaals. We arrived a bit late to go up the tower as it was running in winter closing hours but we got the idea. ... So here I sit, remembering today and thinking about the day in Luxembourg tomorrow. I'm very excited to see Pattons grave, the military cemetery as well as other battle sites around the city.

It's a true blessing for me to be able to do this. I know this. This day was so fulfilling that I could end my trip now and be completely satisfied. However, I have so much more to do as my trip is really just getting started!

... a beautiful site, and is immaculately manned by the War Graces Commission. As with all the cemetery's, it was a fitting resting place for some many War Hero's. George was my Nana's brother, husband to Eve, and father to Linda. We should never forget them, which we don't, but unfortunately we seem to forget what they went through, as fighting around the World still continues ... After a really interesting and worthwhile day, we stopped in at a campsite, to continue ...

... shown to our room for the next couple of nights and we were just taken away with their generosity…they had set up their own room to stay in while they jumped into their spare room (the plan had been for us to stay downstairs in the guest room with the connecting bathroom but, they had noticed through the week that the tiles had started falling off the wall so they felt that they couldnt leave us there so had given us their room instead xx …it was a ...
