Once we checked in we went to the local 7/11 for a well earned beer of Tsingtao and polished it off after a dip in the hotel pool. Although we were on the 15th floor swimming around it felt like we were on the ground floor because of how many other floors were still above us. ... by a very wealth family in Guangzhou. The original purpose was for the family to live in it and also to offer sacrifices for the family ancestors. Thankfully no sacrifices were made yesterday and we enjoyed our visit. It has now become similar to an art museum and also has many active artisans that do paintings, paper cutting and carving. After that we went to Lychee Bay which is a large park with water in the middle of the city. We then returned to our hotel. It ...
