On saturday morning we took the D-train out to the coast to see where the Great Wall ends, or begins. On the sunday we got on a chartered bus to visit a less touristy place at Dongjiakou. The train station was so busy that we had not even contemplated the complete madness of it. All we had to do was what we were told and basically stand in a line and wait for our train. Mike says he now understands what a sardine feels like. ...

... had built this part and we had fun walking around. We then sat back down on this side of the beach to soak up the sun... Joe and I discussed how the next time we will be on a beach will hopefully be a bit warmer!
We then began the long journey home and got back around 6 in the evening. Claire then made us some lovely Thai green curry and we watched some TV before bed.
