It’s hot and humid here – taking a toll on the uniforms – shirts that you’d usually get 2 concerts out of on tour aren’t lasting the distance and we’re fully embracing the notion of the Chinese laundry.

There isn’t much to report on this evening’s concert – without sounding negative – it was a case of same gig different ...

There's not a lot to say about the ancient village, it was the same as most of the villages I have seen, but perhaps there was a more "authentic" feeling there. We had no plans to do anything here except catch a bus; the problem is that our bus to-day doesn't leave until 3:40pm, so we just wandered a bit. Nanchang is by no means a lovely city, but there are few cities in the world that are. It's certainly not worth the disdain it received from others when I told them I was coming here.
