Today was a full day: awake at 7am, breakfast at 7:30, out the door by 8:30, walking the city the entire time except for a 45 minute lunch break (harder schedule than work), then returning back home at 5pm. ... grote market we were earlier in the day to find thousands of people painted in colours watching Belgium play soccer on tv ... It was very loud and exciting as Belgium beat Serbia 3-1. We found a spot on a patio called notre-dame Quasimodo which was right beside the stodht haus. Let's just say a large Stella was 2 Euros and delicious! The dinner, company and the walk home was very memorable and enjoyable. Tomorrow we get rid of our car ... Here we come again ...
... waffles. Everything but waffles in fact. So our pursuit continued, now onto Le Pain, another recommendation per our front desk friend. Just like Charli's, no waffles were to be found (seriously?!?), so instead of pounding the pavement even longer, we took a seat.

We headed up the road to the Hairy Canary. It wasn’t very hairy but they did have carpet. There were plenty of drinks here.
