    ... stalls had amazing handicrafts and again great street food. We tried some traditional schnapps and egg nog. We had a big white sausage in a baguette for dinner and finished it off with chocolate chaud (hot chocolate) for dessert. The day seemed to go so fast but I think we got a lot done in a short time.     ... ble ble ble Leauven?". Hearing this other language my brain immediately switched off my English mode and responded instinctively and without hesitation "Yes it is" ... in Swedish.

    I suppose a Ja is a Ja is a Ja, for each of them understood, thanked me and moved along.

    Leuven...where one street's in French, the next in Flemish and none are in Swedish.

    Kane has been more than amazing, patient and understanding throughout all the dramas. He admitted his first (internal thought) reaction when I told him my bag wasn't there at Cafe Bizon was "What are you doing child?!?!" which is a fair enough reaction to have, as it is something only a child could do...but after that he was calm and matter-of-fact about it, and becasue no money was stolen he didn't see any point worrying about ...
