A quiet couple of days in Chelmsford
Had a lovely weekend, just staying home and relaxing. Having said that, we did go out in the morning for an hour or so to do some shopping but nothing too serious. The weather is changing a bit , a little cooler and not as much sunshine. Watched a bit of football and most of the Fed Ex golf in Atlanta.
We all had a bit of a sleep in this morning, no need to rush. David and Claire ( Graham and Carol's youngest son and daughter-in-law ) were ...
Helping David and Claire move house
An early start to the day today because today we were giving David and Claire ( nephew and his wife ) a hand shifting their furniture.
They have sold their house and are waiting to move into their new house which has not settled yet, so most of their furniture needed to go into storage. Us oldies were conned into helping them and by 9 am it was all systems go. David had hired a big van, which we had to load with all ...

We left and went by Parlament and Westminister Abbey. We didn't go in to either. Westminister Abbey cost 16 pounds to go in....so we skipped that. But we did take some awesome pictures! We topped ...

Arsenal has not had a very good season so far and were 4th from the bottom so a win was an absolute must, must admit I ...
Finally in London!
... that weekend! Leaving was so ***********ce I was at the airport I remembered how excited I really was. I finally got to where I was staying in London around 9 p.m. I had to take the Heathrow express and then two tube stops to get to my house. Our tube stop is Notting Hill Gate and it is so close to the house, which is convenient. I got there and met everyone that I didn’t know. There are a bunch of guys from St. ...
