Our week at Manorbier has come to a close, as tomorrow morning we must -- sadly -- depart. The drive to the campsite at St David's was a bit scary as it was down a single track road and my motorhome filled it. I prayed that I wouldn't meet any oncoming traffic but given that the road ran to a popular beach the prayer was in vain. Luckily I am bigger than most and so can intimidate others into reversing. ... the floor inside has a pronounced slope and some of the massive pillars are on a definite outward lean. Work is now being done to stabilise the building. The stonework and ornately carved 16th century oak ceilings are divine.
