This has been a mixed week from the busyness of cities to the peace of villages.

Leaving Porthmadog behind we wanted to visit an iconic part of Wales before heading back into England. Many of us have seen TV shows featuring the Llangollen acqueduct that sits 38M above the River Dee and 300M long where today pleasure canal boats navigate across this very high route. ... lots of what can only be described as riff raff hanging around the pedestrian mall area. Apparently Saturday is for the young ones and Sunday is for the more mature group. It was a much better atmosphere for Liverpool. Instead of a sea of shaven heads and grey trackpants people were dressed quite tidy. Saying that, most of the yobbos were in the pubs as Liverpool had an away game.
