We were lucky enough to take the sunset tour and were literally the only people on the entire site for the afternoon which was incredible. ... would be awhile before we got here, Guatemala seemed the safest bet. The bank card hadn't arrived in Guatemala City by the time we had arrived there so we stayed the night in the hotel at the terminal and got a bus the following morning to the colonial town of Antigua. It was less than an hours' drive from the City so we figured that we would just pop back in to collect the card when it arrived.

I got lucky as the hostess gave me two packets of almonds by mistake, she'd forgotten she'd given me some already. Tea was nice, pasta with vegetables. Salad and fruit salad. I was given an extra bread role.

... No plans to eat. I bought some cashews 4oz Q15. The guy weighed them on handheld scales in the car park. We then went into Super 24 to buy other snacks, needing salt I got some crisps too. I had to giggle at a brand of sardines. Fanny's, very fishy!

... El Salvador so we will cancel entry and go direct to Guatemala via
Esquipulas border post. Chris & Janet have told us by e-mail that they also
are not doing El Salvador as they need more time in Mexico. Sadly therefore I sent
an e-mail to Jose Mario at the San Salvador LR Owners Club to say sorry about
change of plan re dates etc and thanks for trying to get the permit earlier.
