... br> At last we arrive in Guatemala City and before going to the hotel we visit Plaza Constitutional for the Sunday Mayan market.

The plaza is crowded with people enjoying their Sunday afternoon, Muchachas come from the distant towns to look for boyfriends or shop for "cotes" the traditional Mayan skirts and the array of gorgeous Mayan textiles is staggering.

... my bag. I cleaned it up and went out. Breakfast was not an option as it was past 9.30am when I got up and incidentally, it was not included anyway. To keep me going, I ate some biscuits I had left over from the journey.
