      So we arrived at the campsite at Imperia with another problem with the Alarm Siren Sounding and the Engine Immobiliser kicking in... We now have 3 problems still to sort out, the Fiat Speedometer, Kitchen Tap and the Alarm..! Claim with Amex being processed for the Water Diesel and the repair from the Fiat Dealer to flush the system and just to keep everything ticking along also contacted AGIP Service Stations HQ... Can't do any ...

      Day 41 - Thu 9th Oct 2014 In Monterosso Italy. Had breakfast at 8:45am Picked up our bags for the train at 12pm and also had to negotiate several flights of stairs. Travelling by train to Bordighera approximately 5.5hrs and stopped at 34 train stations. Train toilet was an interesting arrangement with toilet open to the train tracks ...

      ... bay, yesterday was time to say my goodbyes to my travel companion and send her back to cold and rainy blighty, before I continued the drive along the riviera. The views were amazing and I can't believe how many different shades of blue and turquoise the sea can be along one stretch of coast! I'm now working up to saying ciao ciao to this amazing country I've so unexpectedly fallen in love with and head out to the French Riviera and Monaco. Wish you were here ...

      ... Lots of tourists but it still has a charm with its narrow streets and view down to the ocean. Dropped into Vence on our way through to Menton.

      Menton was our final destination. It is a scaled down version of Nice with lots of people in the sunshine sunbaking on the stony beach and lots of grand hotels. Enjoyed dinner on the esplanade looking out over the turquoise blue ...
