Day 10: Cangyan Mountain

... 309 kilometres per hour, one glides into Hebei’s capitol city, Shijiazhuang. From there, a 1 hour bus ride then a taxi to the Cangyan Mountain.

Cangyan Mountain is hard to describe. But it is basically a deep red stone gorge much like the grand Canyon. On one side of the canyon is a deep cut-back as though the canyon was split with an axe. Between the narrow axe cut in the wall, a delicate and elegantly detailed ...

More Song Writers and Little Red Riding Hood

A travel blog entry by echristian778 on Apr 20, 2014

This week the 5th grade wrote their own songs. And yet again, I had some interesting ones done by the students. Such as:

There's a bee on a flower on a leaf on a tree on a lawn on a park on a grass ...

"There's a speck on the eye, on the flea, on the fly, on the wart, on the frog, on the bump, on the log, in the hole, in the bottom of the sea"

And if you have never heard this thing sung ...

English Teaching

A travel blog entry by echristian778 on Mar 28, 2014

So I tried to get the kids this week to tell me about different sports they liked and why but the lesson didn't go over the greatest. They were able to do it but for some reason it just dragged out really long. But I was given more bracelets, this time some beaded ...
