    ... of all the parks we have been in on this trip so far. It is almost full (we got the next to last site) of workers who are here for various jobs. It is fine, but a working camp RV park just doesn't have the same feel as a park that is mainly for those of us who are passing through. John is out (again!!) washing Muf's face...and oh, yes...the temperature when we pulled in here was (Ta Da!!) 98 degrees! Yikes!

    ... But every town has a secret and in Eureka's past there was a gentleman philanthropist named Roger Babson. Roger believed that Eureka was the center of the magic circle and drew a radius of 400 miles that encompassed an area that produced, per capita, the greatest value of minerals and crops of anywhere in the U S. He attempted to found a college he called Utopia and it existed for some 25 years but no longer ...

    ... pedal stroke at a time and at our own pace.

    So we got into the day around 10am and it took awhile to get through the town of Wichita, as we were going over one of the many bridges in town we saw people doing a Zip Line across the river, it looked fun but we choose not to stop since we had a long day ahead.....The storm from last night left a lot of branches on the roads and debris.

    ... of eating out, that for me is the hardest thing about the trip......We eat out of the Van alot but still have to rely on restaurant food.....Jane did her parking and riding back towards me and at least got the tail winds one way.....My left hand has lost the feeling in 3 fingers and it takes my whole left hand to shift.....that has become a issue this past week.....up till then I was able to get the feeling back by shaking ...

    ... pool and ask for a "very kind lady called Becky". When we arrived we found out that Becky was the life guard and not only has an open house policy for cyclists, but lets them swim for free! This offer was much too tempting especially as we were reliably informed that the next town was 30 miles further in. We decided to give ourselves a break and spent the afternoon alternatively sunbathing, swimming and chatting to the friendly locals.
