... The day was so hot, up to 31 degrees, so travelling in Ruby was very sticky! By 5pm, we had had enough and pulled into the first campsite we came to near a town called Seilhac and overlooking Lac de Bournazel. At first we thought it was shut given the lack of any people camping however it wasn’t so we checked in.
That evening, we listened to the fighter jets on their way back to Toulouse. The sky turned very dark but we were spared any rain ...
... the whole time! 10/06 After a extremely warm night, (it started cooling down after 3 am) we came down to find a beautiful breakfast with a self baked brioche by Mylene who always gets up around 6 in the morning ..... After breakfast they had to go and do some shopping so they dropped us in the middle of the small town, we would visit the sites and walk back as they lived on the other side of the river 20 min walking. We enjoyed walking through this small, clean town ...
... back to town, we went to the super mâché (supermarket) and bought supplies...wine, bread, eggs...and pasta for a home cooked meal. Nice for a change as although we are still enjoying the local fare, we are aware of the costs of eating out each night. Unfortunately we must leave this town after only two nights, we so wish we could have stayed longer, there was so much more to see and experience, it is somewhere we would like to come back and spend more time.
