... is a letter, called the "confession of St Patrick." Which is written by the man himself in order that his family and colleagues might better understand his motives. His motives may have been honourable (at least to him) but I had to wonder, this is the man who drove the Druids out of Ireland. I don't know a lot about the druids but I do know that they were a group not to be messed with in their day. So how much firepower did St Patty actual have? Meh, I'll still have a drink for ...

Although to be honest the first one was about geology (snooze) it was interesting but it didn't really grab me. We motored for 10.5 hours against the breeze in a lumpy sea. It was an uncomfortable ride and no one ate much for lunch.

Carlingford (the town) is a 15 minute walk from the marina, but I was nursing a sore knee so I stayed in board.

The Mourne Mountains to the North have some great walking, but we are just here for the night.
