A bit more involved than the trotting days tho, men everywhere, and diggers, and tractors. The tote trucks, caterers, marquees were already up. We left them to it and walked a ...

... who was looking at her, then me, then her again ....... It was poetry in motion, Jude picked up her bag (Judith here: I was trying to contain my laughter). Then her girlfriend arrived and when we left 1/2hr later they were still going hammer and tongs over their TEA AND TOAST! The moral is: Senior Seniors rule in Skerries!" We motored for 10.5 hours against the breeze in a lumpy sea. It was an uncomfortable ride and no one ate much for lunch.

Carlingford (the town) is a 15 minute walk from the marina, but I was nursing a sore knee so I stayed in board.

The Mourne Mountains to the North have some great walking, but we are just here for the night.
