Took the drive to Portsmouth today because we were super interested in the marine heritage and history here. Oddly, our guidebooks both panned Portsmouth as an uninteresting, industrial port, but we found it very quaint!

We spent a quiet Christmas enjoying a good rest and spending time with friends.
