... WAS BEAUTIFUL,BUT SIMPLE, AND UNDER CONSTRUCTION. (TIME OF THE YEAR) SO THERE IS SO MUCH TO SEE I DON'T THINK YOU COULD SEE HALF IN A LIFE TIME. SO THERE ARE A FEW PICTURES TO GO WITH THE DAY, BUT REMEMBER IT WAS RAINING . BUT I MET A DELIGHTFUL COUPLE AT A RESTAURANT WHEN I WENT IN FOR A COFFEE. THEY WERE FROM DETROIT,MI. MARRIED 46 years AND VERY SWEET PEOPLE. WE SHARED STORIES AND THEY THOUGHT I WAS BRAVE ,!! Ha IT IS LATE SO UNTIL TOMORROW. REMEMBER GOD LOVES YOU!!! ...

It was a long 5 hour drive today to get to the Pyrenees but it was worth every minute of it to round a corner and see the snow capped mountains in the distance. We arrived at our campsite at Bagneres de Bigorre just south of Tarbes in the Haut Pyrenees about 2pm and were amazed to see the elusive yellow ball (aka the sun) in the sky….yeee haaa!!


Our campsite is stunning, situated at the foot of the Pyrenees, there are currently only 2 vans staying ...

... and peered through the mist, a snowdrift appeared to be blocking our path! What to do? Getting closer, the 'snowdrift' separated and turned into a flock of hundreds of sheep, rushing down from the high pastures to find shelter on the road from the driving rain and hail.
