... we leave we watched the heavy lifting machinery unload the cable car and load up the goods wagon to take the load to the town of Murren.

Soon we are off and on our way along the cliff edge towards the town of Murren.

This little railway is simply only about 3 or so miles long and consists of nothing more than two railcars and a few goods wagons. It runs right along the edge of the mountain and hugs the cliff for just about the full length of its journey. How they ...

... fields of flowers. After about 45min we made it to the waterfalls. They were so big, powerful and stunning. We were able to walk up through the caves to the top... Dmitriy felt a little worse for the wear, but he rallied on. Today's hiking would be longer, but less strenuous. We would be hiking more along the ridge then up and down. We started off by taking the train to Lauterbrunnen again. From there we took a gondola up to Grutschalp. We ...

... down hill (my kind of hike!) and lamented returning the sleds we had rented when we realized this was actually a very popular sledding run as discovered by the many sledders we dodged during our walk. The views of the mountainside were beautiful and Caitlin got to have a lengthy conversation with a goat that just wouldn’t have been possible whipping down the trail on sleds.

Finally we took a cable car back (my ...
