... don't really see wheel to wheel racing on this circuit as it takes the drivers 100% concentration just to stay on the circuit without crashing in the barriers. Even so it was still good fun to watch, just experiencing the speed they go on such tight streets is incredible to see. At dinner one night, I told Lorne that before we came to the Cote D'Azur, I had never seen skies in which most of the clouds were jet trails. ... people selling their produce with a passion so of course we obliged by buying some fruit and a few pastries from a lovely young man. Rick even managed to get the gelato man to give us some ice for our drinks tonight so that just goes to show you small towns are the best even in Italy!
Our small hotel is right in the down town area and suits us well so hopefully we will have a better nights sleep and looking forward to Arles tomorrow.
