... for people to enjoy and is surrounded with buildings of different colours – red, cream, pink, green. Also the green painted window shutters of buildings in Nice reminded us a lot of Italy. We climbed up Castle Hill to get an aerial view of the city. We couldn’t get enough of the beautiful blue coast.

Left Kyriad Joel at 7.30 am for train at 9.00am. Took train to Marselles. *******s man made us pay 126E as we did not have seniors card. Changed at Marseilles. Very white outside. Waited for hour. Took train to Nice. Very hoy train. Chinese man went to air cobnut not us. Changed at Nice for Ventimelia. Ran for next train from Ventumelia to Sanremo. Did not know where the the station exited. We had a two nights/one day stopover in Nice. The day was a scorcher so we headed off on the train to Monaco. Mike and I had visited many years ago but friends Kevin and Barbara hadn't and we were keen to see how the rich and famous are looking these days.
