Our dinner at VistaMar in the Hermitage Hotel (One of Monte Carlo/Monaco's top 10 restaurants) was complete with foie gras, sea bass, lamb, chocolate fondant and Grand Marnier Souffle... a perfect ending to an amazing meal. We finished the night in a small club cut into the side of a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean.

Depuis 1 mois, c'est la récolte des olives, mais tout au long de l'année il faut s'occuper des arbres, les entretenir, les tailler, etc.

You may be asking what about Paris and the Louvre, Eiffel Tower etc? Yes they are a tourism must do but do not create the Wow factor – for us anyhow.

We are now in Italy and have travelled via Cote d’Azur and our last 2 days with Marg. We have truly had an amazing time and have shared fabulous meals and experiences.

... in the early afternoon and after transferring via the tram and hostel pickup from the train station, I checked in at Saint Exupery Villas, which is full of North Americans. I say North Americans and not just Americans because later that evening I would meet Gill, a bright, young and attractive 23 year old from Canada, who would not thank me one bit for anything otherwise!
