      The worst part of travelling...

      ... it was a mere 136 miles. Hence, we didn't expect it to take over twelve hours. The reason was that the route involved gong up into the mountains and amongst windy mountain edges. We were lucky to get up to 30mph, but eventually arrived in Luang Prabang at 9pm. Luckily reception was still open at Villa Philayack, so we were able to check in, and get settled to our new room. Finding food, however, was a bit more problematic, and we ended up just settling for a very basic Laotian ...
