I met an English couple, Sarah and Gareth, who live in Edinburgh and were also trying to figure out how to get there. We got the shuttle back into the city center and checked out trains going to Geneva. I was able to check on my phone and saw that there was a pretty cheap flight from Geneva to ...

... jumped in the car, did a lap of the lake and then drove up the Semnoz, scene of the Etape du Tour in 2013 that we rode. There were bikes going up it, it wasn't cold or as hot when we twice rode it, but now, like all good climbs, there were kilometre markers telling you about the gradient that was coming up. This is what we needed last year !!!

A quick trip back down, and we headed back to Geneva airport, thinking, we really must do that again !!!
