I participated in my first ever marathon which took place practically in my backyard at the 8th annual International DMZ Cheorwon Marathon. Sad to say though I was not prepared as I should have been and only ran the 5k, but, that was enough for me! You have to try everything once, right? I didn't want to give up the chance to be involved in a big event in Cheorwon because big events are usually rare.

So today our field trip was changed from Nami (spelled wrong I'm sure) Island to a museum and a botanical garden. It was definitely not as much fun as the Island would have been, but it worked.
