This weekend is why I came all this way. Andrew and Judy married after 13, (or is that 14?) years of togetherness, and Andy turns over another decade. It was time to celebrate and we did that ALL weekend. Literally. Judy was a glamorous and beautiful bride, and their ceremony was special. There was a reading from the book Gift of The Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh which is a book I love, and a piece by Pachebel - Canon in D, which is very moving for me. We moved on to a fabulous party throughou...

... but the line was always out the door and along the street and you couldn't book. Still, Bath is a city full of excellent places to eat. Plus I've just booked myself in for lunch at Jamie's 15 restaurant in London on my last day in the UK, so that should be awesome!
Anyway, back to Bath. The hostel was pretty average and the showers were horrible, but I loved Bath. Teresa and I had so much fun! There are tonnes of tourist attractions, especially if ...
... TWO WHOLE WEEKS, and I can’t wait! I haven’t been to Italy since I was a teenager, and Murray has never been there! It will be fantastic to visit Italy together – and I am dubbing this part of the trip the honeymoon we never had (due to that pesky house fire after our wedding!).
Thank you, England, for a few much-needed days of rest and relaxation. And THANK YOU, Wright and Glassock families, for your friendship, generosity, and hospitality!!!
I manged to buy a car in November, a purple Rover 216! Very sporty.. lol. But I did have to spend a bit of money on it to get it into shape and MOT'd. Well registered in Australia. He and I have had some adventures already but I'm sure plenty of more when I take him to Scotland with me!
Enjoy the photos of Pete
... don't it must be the same as normal.
Landing at Heathrow, we took the Heathrow Connect to Paddington.. a cheaper alternative to the Heathrow Express and only 15 mins longer ride.
At Paddington we headed straight for Costa for our now British ritual - a skinny latte and mozzerella, tomato and basil panini. For some reason lattes taste better in England - it must be the milk.

... was trying to avoid him by taking a picture really quick with the statue but he was quicker than I was! After my picture was taken with him, he started talking to us about heavy metal, and he was actually kind of funny...but I never ended up being able to take my picture with the lovely Ms. Austen.
We then caught our bus back to London and went to bed right away as we had to be up by 3:15am to get ready to catch a flight to Berlin.
... were erected, why they were placed that way, how many people were involved and so many things to ponder. I've read from most sources that it was a burial ground. Anyway, it was fascinating, although I was there with quite a massive group of tourists.

The title of this entry is a direct quote from an excited Andy Gray on Fifa 06. And here is the final ever entry to this particular travel blog. I am now home, and my Kiwi Adventures are over. I've now got some use out of this map, travelling more than a centimeter. I got home on Tuesday, and the reason why it has taken me 4 days to write this, is because my computer decided to **** up and refuse to work. It also got a virus, which ...
Stroud, United Kingdom alexlove... and it seems there is no wind here. Walking around the stone circle is fun and I take a lot of photos. I'm thinking, however, that the stones could have been bigger, at least I expected them to be bigger.
The circle used to work as an astronomic calendar, it would predict the solstice or some natural calamities. It was also used as a place of prayer, and people would meet here to begin and to end each season of the year.
