    Kathleen, she of the apricot cardigan, had dropped by VERY EARLY a couple of days before while I was out the back hanging out some washing, looking very much like a paid-up member of Group One, in daggy housework clothes, wet hair, and I have to admit, the odd curler-- to invite me to the meeting.

    ... first and looked at the famous Arlington Row which comprises a row of 14th century cottages, possibly one of the most photographed spots in the area. These cottages were built for the woollen trade workers and the wool was dried on a rack on the land adjacent.     Today we went into Bath and although we had been here several times before it was still a pleasure to look around.     Arrived Heathrow at lunch time and used my British passport to get through immigration quite quickly and on to a bus that took me to Gloucester.There I took a local bus (a very scenic route that took ages!) to Stroud,where a short taxi ride found me at my house.By now it was dark and I was a bit anxious about finding the key hidden in a prearranged place in the garden....but there it was!.
