Me, Tamara, Carmen, and their grandma spent the past week in Langeoog. It is pretty small island, but it has been so much fun. The island doesn't allow cars so we have to bike everywhere, and it is honestly a nice change. It's very peaceful here and the beach is so beautiful. Apparently, during the Soviet era, the entire Peninsula was closed as it was home to various military installations, but now it is a popular holiday ...

The area is a very large inlet, but it is also very flat and so the boats have to go thru a lock to get out into the open sea.
There are a few restaurants there, but we had ...
