... Let me tell you, it was tough, tough work but the views over the city were breathtaking. It was worth it. Now, all we had to do afterwards was to walk back down the spiral staircases without falling. At the bottom, our legs felt like jelly, so we laid in the grass to recover. We had nearly finished the freedom trail, and we came to the agreement that we needed to find a pub once we finished for a well earned drink. We headed to our last landmark which was along ...

... in the café on the first floor at the "Café" which bakes its own pastries. We were surprised that we were able to find our way to their apartment. The main hall is a large arch with wings that went out from the arch. Each section was marked A,B,C,D,E,F, G,however the arch would be A and the wings were C. ... freak out that I will have to go down all 9 floors before being able to return to the elevators and go back up to the 9th floor. Luckily there was a "Emergency exit" on floor 5. But really? 4 floors, what if some crazy killer had followed me into the stairwell and I had a bad knee? Going down 4 flights of stairs is sending a clear sign that we need to be fat and use the elevators. Anywho! I finally make it back in to the consulate office and ask if the background check has to ...
