... the sky was turning black so headed for the car before the rains began. Home to relax, shower and go to the library for a bit before dinner at Sabatino’s. It was just windy till be left the library and now it is raining, a drab, wet and gloomy night. Had our usual good dinner and back home for a wine and bed.

We get back ...

... this time, check in was a breeze so we had time to kill before the flight left. The flight to Buffalo was just over an hour then we had to find transport for the drive to Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada where we were staying. I had looked at this online before leaving home and some operators were charging $300 for a return trip so we had decided to wait until we got here. Outside the airport we caught a taxi who was heading to ...

... 160; The balcony is where the Declaration of Independence was first read to the public.  People were so overjoyed to be free they tore the original lion and unicorn off the building and burned them.  Today there are just replicas and on the back of the building is a soaring eagle to symbolize our freedom.  1976 Queen Elizabeth came to visit the Old State House for our Bicentennial.  On the balcony the people of Boston presented her with a check for 34,000 to ...
