A travel blog entry by kelley.dendel on Jul 30, 2014

Joe, Butch, Jane and I finished loading up Sparkie and headed off to make the 11:00am bridge in South Haven. A little chilly but mostly gorgeous day. The ride up the channel was smooth. No boats, no traffic. Peaceful! The less than hour drive to Saugatuck ...

Sittin' on the porch with the rain pouring down outside, while we're dry inside as a family is really, really nice. Until we all get to picking on each other as we always do. But, I like that too, in a weird kind of way. It would be strange if we weren't all laughing at each other. I guess that's how my family expresses ...

... the world cup, US v. Portugal. My aunt Kerry and her kids Daniel and Megan we're just showing up as well. With a louder, fuller, more opinionated house we enjoyed the heck ouf that soccer game. Aunt Ker Jr and Uncle Larry made delicious Mexican food for us all to eat for dinner during the game. The fresh guacamole was especially amazing!!! After a pretty decent game, with a disappointing outcome (one after which ...
