Gegen Nachmittag schlenderten, pardon drängelten, wir dann die Duval Street entlang. Diese riesige Souvenir- und Fressmeile sollte angeblich den Esprit Key Wests versprühen. Außer Schweißperlen spürten wir aber leider nichts ;-)

Must mention that a common item on the menu here is Dolphin, we were quite shocked to see this. Have tried alligator, snails, frogs legs, camel etc but just can not bring ourselves to eat Dolphin.
Later in the afternoon the storm clouds gathered and it rained quite heavily but was still steamy hot.

When going North takes you South
... fun with them our last night in Key West that I can't help but spread the word. We ended up getting a CD from them, which we have listened to multiple times on our road trip. Good music, good guys, good times.
We spent our last night in Florida back in Ft Lauderdale, and enjoyed more delicious wine and food with Jason's parents. Week 1 in the states was over, and we were officially on our way to starting another new adventure in the USA.

... way to an art fair which was one block off of Duval Street (shopping district). The art fair had some very beautiful and creative displays of jewlrey, paintings, pottery, etc. It reminded me of the Uptown art fair.
