... but we finally got the camera fitted.
From Key Largo to Key West is about 160 km, we should be able to pull that off in 1.5 hrs, OK maybe 2 cus there's bound to be some clownyness. Nope, 4+ hours. Speed rarely tops 50 kph, lots of construction, lots of slow moving cotton tops. Any one over the age of 50 is absolutely fanatical about obeying the speed limit. There are no pull overs, no passing lanes.

So when we set off ten months ago Orlando had never even been mentioned as a destination but somewhere we always wanted to visit in the future with kids! ... Cat Man" so we watched him for a bit but quickly decided he just seemed like a weird annoying French kitty torturer so we left (but I did sneak a quick video)
Hit up a few more bars on and off Duvall Street and then onto dinner. This dinner was pretty good but nothing too amazing -- and they separated the bar and food bill and then gave themselves a 25% tip which we did not appreciate. Oh well.
... road with the Caribbean on the left and Mexican sea on the right. Every now and then we passed through a 'city' which was more like a beach town. Key Largo, Marathon etc.
We arrived into Key West around 11. Key West is the Southern most point on the continental USA. There is a Naval base there but their main business is tourism. Cruise ships dock there and people like me visiting.

... Upon returning we got cleaned up...had a few shots...and headed to Duvall Street (Downtown Key West)...take it from me, this is a "must do...freak show". Pick your poison...choose from dooling piano bars...clothing optional bars...or just a quiet micro-brew...Key West has it all. We choose to try and throw quarters into a plastic Groupers mouth @ Captain Tony's Salon (see photo of Carrie Anne giving it the college try).
