      ... nicht viel von jedem anderen Strand. Doch für die Australier sind es ebend DIE Strände und somit konnten wir uns diese nicht einfach entgehen lassen. Dazu gehören vor allem Byron Bay und die Golden Bay (Goldküste) mit dem Surfers Paradise. Tatsächlich ein Name für einen Ort!

      Für noch mehr Spaß am Strand hatten wir uns ein Bodyboard gekauft (natürlich wieder ein Angebot bei Aldi). Dies ist eine etwas vereinfachte Form des Surfboards ...

      What a surprise we are both up, dressed and ready for action well before 11 o'clock!!!

      This morning we are off to Surfer's Paradise to go whale watching on a catamaran called the Spirit of the Goldcoast and we have to be there for 9 am.
