    Paradise in a caravan

    ... an Aldi so we called in. At Robina Brian checked the Tattslotto ticket and we won $100 on our system seven. We bought an outside door mat as we must have left your other one at Swan Hill. The afternoon was spent beside the pool. Brian also had a swim in the surf between the flags opposite the van park. Main Beach surf club is in the park across the road.

    The wind had dropped on Wednesday morning so we walked the beach to Surfers ...

    ... sun, we followed a brown sign to Lake Baroon Pocket Dam. A quick right and then a quick left and we were confronted with a very, very, steep hill going down off the mountain ridge to the valley floor below in one straight descent. It wasn't the going down that was so alarming, it was the thought of our van trying to get back up again which was worrying.     ... nicht viel von jedem anderen Strand. Doch für die Australier sind es ebend DIE Strände und somit konnten wir uns diese nicht einfach entgehen lassen. Dazu gehören vor allem Byron Bay und die Golden Bay (Goldküste) mit dem Surfers Paradise. Tatsächlich ein Name für einen Ort!

    Für noch mehr Spaß am Strand hatten wir uns ein Bodyboard gekauft (natürlich wieder ein Angebot bei Aldi). Dies ist eine etwas vereinfachte Form des Surfboards ...

    ... Wales. I am sure, we will not run out of conversations, the time I spend there.
    I will then ride a bid further down south, towards the blue mountains, before then turning back home!
    This will then be the real end of the tour, Elisabeth, Benjamin and Jonas will all be at home for Christmas, looking forward to a very fitting end!
