      From Conway we drove to Sandwich stopping at a very nice Motel. We spent most of the evening in the swimming pool, the hot tub and the Sauna. A big group on a coach trip arrived and their rooms overlooked the pool. We kept waving at them but they got too embarrassed.

      From there we got the ferry over to Martha's vineyard, a well known tourist area and mainly populated during the summer. 16000 ...

      ... new one 'Papa Jim' when you float on your back with your feet out of the water and let the wave turn you. Castletown revisited! We all deserved an ice cream break - also best ice cream of the trip - in Orleans. After a final swim in Nickerson Park lake we went home.

      ... a photo of the tail (flume) but the whales don't actually put their flumes up that much. The whales have all been given names by the naturalists, and they are distinguished by the markings on their flumes; apparently no two are ever the same.

      We saw many more whales this time, it was amazing, but after about 90 minutes it was time to return to Barnstable.

      ... hunt. That was all Emma needed to hear! The walk was about a mile, and we spent 1 hour there. It was actually quite nice , and the hunt really forced them to look at the exhibit. They also had a nice movie that told the story of the Pilgrims that was done very well. The scavenger hunt prize was a postcard, which they were quite excited to receive.
