“Top notch”

Stayed for 5 days and had a great time. It's like a hotel for backpackers - clean, cheap snacks and drinks, friendly staff and just a stone's throw from Cable Beach. The only snag is that it's a bit out of town, but apart from that it comes highly recommended!

25th November Well, after a bit of a painless but gruelling trip I've finally arrived in Perth. Had a stop at Dubai on the way, but that turned into a bit of a rush as my Heathrow flight was delayed by over an hour... I touched down here at about 2.30am.. Broome. I love Broome. It's hot but not humid (at least not too humid), insects are few and far between (except between 3pm and 5pm when the flies suddenly appear on mass); the birds are cool (feathered variety); the beach is top notch; the hostel is excellent – life is just great!

Every part of Australia has been fab in its own way …
