... brighten the dark sky. It was very cool.
This morning we've just breakfasted, been for one last swim (and a few final jumps) and packed. We'll have some lunch now and the taxi should be here in an hour and a half or so.
We will update this blog with some pictures when we get home to give it some life, and write a final entry when we have had time to reflect. Other than that, we're nearly done. It's been brilliant.
Hi all
Just a quick update. It's Friday morning, and we've just had breakfast. As ever at this time of the day, the sky is a brilliant blue and the sun warm. The view out over the Carribean was spectacular.
This is our final full day on honeymoon, which is sad. Tomorrow evening we fly back to London, arriving at Gatwick at 10am Sunday morning.
We've had a lovely time since arriving here. Wednesday was largely spent relaxing and swimming in / jumping ...
Hi guys Just a quick update via the phone to let you know that we are safely settled into The Caves in Jamaica. It is, as you'd expect, beautiful. Yesterday's travel was a bit stressful - we had a manic/comical dash through Miami to reach our connecting flight - but it all worked out OK, and we arrived here at 10.30pm last night. There were a couple of beers and some fresh lobster salad waiting for us which was a nice touch. Today we've explored a bit ...
Feks.. How are you doing? blir til Howyadoin osv :) Det er utrolig morsomt aa hore de snakke med hverandre, men ...
Negril, Jamaica elinolsennalum... way the water is perfectly safe to drink in Jamaica. In fact I highly recommend that you drink plenty of it. Most people that get sick on vacation, do so from a number of other reasons, most having a lot to do with over consumption and lack of water. Take your time, let your body get accustomed to a new environment and different foods. Go easy on the rum, and drink plenty of water.
Speaking of rum and ...
Sorry for the dreadful pun incorporated into the title of this section, but a trip to the Caribbean in January 2006 replaced the regular annual January ski fixture, and was yet another encounter with the American tourist, which was to be the last, for absolutely no reason other than ongoing commitments and diminished practicalities. I arrived on the island of Jamaica in poor shape due to a newly-broken collar bone, which I was ...
Montego Bay, Jamaica jollyjetsetter... to Africa in terms of housing and road quality. Most locals live in houses that best resemble beach boxes down on Brighton Beach, small wooden boxes that are tiny. Though there are no chimneys there is always a waft of smoke pouring out. Daren Ganga. We did do a day tour that took us to Mayfield Falls which involved an hour river walk up the falls. Was good fun and something completely different. The only bummer was that every day at ...
Negril, Jamaica overseas_ash... Mobay, the airport workers are familiar with the artist SNOW, who was traveling with us. Instantly they all start singing one of his songs and dancing around with Snow. It was a hoot! There was also a rum punch booth set up outside the airport that day, I've never seen it since. But they were serving free rum punch to anyone who wanted it. We boarded our bus and set out for Negril ...
