After 1 1/2 hours of sleep: restless, fitful sleep, I dragged my suitcase to the car in the pouring rain and Steve and I picked up my travelling companion at her apartment. Her apartment which was flooding as the night wore on. Ouch. This was not looking good. So as I mentioned in the blog description, I flew to Jamaica with no plans whatsoever. All I knew is that I wanted to meat good people, get to know the country and simply relax.

Let's give credit where credit is due. Carnival excels in many areas. It also occasionally fails.
