... for Sophie as she really needed some proper medicine for those bites. I did a solitary dive to take a look at the offshore reef which was fine but the visibility wasn't great, although a rather large nurse shark did swim past at one point which was cool to see. To give you an idea of how small and interconnected the island is, every time we hailed a cab we ended up with the same driver, David, to his great amusement. As we ...

... about the importance of keeping their beaches and ocean clean and they seemed to really appreciate the info. The clean up itself was a lot of fun- sort of like an Easter Egg hunt. We had about 15 kids participate and we paid each of them $2/bag for their efforts- they were thrilled! We met tons of kids thru this effort and they played constantly w/Ella and Enzo the remainder of our trip. Our kids would even go on their own w/out us ...

So one one dive, one of the Dive Masters was pointing out a Lion Fish to Amanda, which had nestled itself in a rock crevice. Amanda dropped down, poked her head to take a look and just as she was doing it, a 2.5 meter nurse shark popped out of now where and came straight in and ate the Lion Fish. So when ...

... local place we choose to dine at didn't catch lobster that day and we ended up eating fresh caught barracuda instead. We could have gone somewhere else but seeing the fresh fish and dining at this small local restaurant (rosa's) we decided we could wait for lobster.

Our last night on the Corn islands was spent on Big Corn as we had an early flight and thought it would be less stressful. We stayed in a large private room overlooking the beach and had a BBQ dinner.
