Day 3 - Massage and Curry

... singlet top for 399 baht as proceeds go to breast cancer. Not much happening this time of day which was about 12:30 now.

Time for some curry and we walked up to Orchard Garden on the corner of Soi Kepsab and Rat a tut rd. Choose the classic massamun and penang. Curries were about 150 and rice 50 each. Flavor was great although I've had better penang (bit of a penang snob here, it's my all time favorite ). Massamun was beautiful and actually a tad bit hot which took us ...

There were three beaches within the resort, and an array of international restaurants, one of which was inside of a cave. The wildlife was also incredible. We saw monitor lizards, birds, fish, skinks, turtles, frogs, and butterflies. By far, my favorite animals were the monkeys. Once or twice a day we would encounter these playful creatures. They had so much personality.

We didn't have any of this trouble with Bangkok airways, so we have concluded that Air Asia are rubbish! Never again! The flight was so bumpy, but luckily it was only an hour and 20 minutes, when we arrived at Don muang, we got our luggage and queued for a metered taxi (they work out cheaper apparently) and it did. We did get ...

... my first visit in October. But oh no... Sadly I had other plans in store for me beyond my control which would prevent us from doing ANYTHING on our second day... Soz Josh. After having met up with Chris and some of his friends on our first evening in Bangkok just down the road from our hostel (I brought Josh back to the same one) for drinks at Cheap Charlie's (again!), I proceeded to spend the whole night in the bathroom... It was a "both-end ordeal", if you get my drift... Anyway, I ...

        ... ok.

Phuket is a popular place to dive, both fun dive and do discover scuba. We probably had about 50 divers on the boat of which proabably 20 of them were doing discover scuba. Luke's instructor, Colin from South London was a very good instructor he explained everything really well to Luke and was very patient,I think he and Luke got on really well. He even looked a bit upset when I said I had taken decongestants... better than the ...
