... We soon headed back out to buy our boat tickets. The woman who we bought them off was horrible, she gave us the funniest stare off ever. We thought her eyeballs were going to pop out. But we got them in the end and tomorrow was sorted. We chilled out in the room until dinner time. We decided to head to the same place as earlier for dinner. We had a massaman curry and Thai soup. The curry was so much nicer than last night, it ...

I Need to go Phi Phi

After my brief respite from the thriving night life in Thailand, I decided to move on to Koh Phi Phi, made famous by The Beach and it's beach parties. I had booked 4 nights at Blanco Beach Bar, which according to the directions on the confirmation email could only be accessed via the beach. It's funny how much trust you have to put in people, being that we were waiting outside a tour office it could have been anyone asking us to follow them but with Carl in the group we felt a little safer. ... Ton Sai labyrinth and had a coconut oil massage before going to the beach for some beers and Fire shows. They were really good tonight and were a good finale to our stay. We ended up staying longer than we had thought and when we went looking for some food everywhere was closing up. We ended up in Pirates again and had some delicious Indian curry with chapatti's. Looking forward to Koh Lanta ...

... place. We're getting out of here as quickly as we can". We stayed at Amata Hotel which, compared to all of our accommodation so far, was beautiful!! Massive room and bathroom, mini bar, free water, English TV channels, linen that actually fit the bed and didn't come off half way through the night leaving you to sleep on a dirty mattress. Heaven. On top of that it had a roof top pool and one by reception. Yup, I think I'm going to like it here. Not having long ...
