... before I upload it in San Francisco. Following the conclusion of the fireworks display, Queen Elizabeth saluted her great aunt, Queen Mary with three blasts of her horn. We turned to port and the Pilot guided us out of the harbour as we slipped away into the night charting an overnight course past the islands of San Miguel, Santa Rosa and Santa Cruz. Today has been one of the highlights of the trip today in so many ways. It's a good job it's a sea day tomorrow to give me time to ...

... that popular on weekends - most people live in outer suburbs.

Having spent a few hours wandering around and getting some lunch in one of the many Subways, I caught the Metro bus back to the hotel. The cough was now getting worse and I was beginning to get tired.

We jumped out of the bus and had the same intro to the Chinese Theatre and the Stars as before. We went up to the second balcony to take some Hollywood pictures ...

... girls I am letting the team down I only bought 2 hats.

Narelle -Darren found you an outfit for the christmas party at Venice Beach, he knew you were looking for something in gold.

The Hyatt Hotel in long Beach where we are staying is just lovely. We have the harbour across the road and also views across the harbour to the Queen Mary.

Driving around LA has been a lot easier than we thought but their roads are certainly not as good as EastLink.
