      ... are issued for each ride for each time slot. That was easily the most handy tip as it saved us hours in waiting times, I don't know why anyone wouldn't get a Fast pass for those rides. Its like legally jumping the queue. After about 90 minutes you are then allowed to get another Fast Pass even if you haven't used the first one so you can hold up to 2 at a time.

      ... dipped sandwiches! We had the beef which consisted of a french roll dipped in beef juices, sliced beef and blue cheese - yum!       ... and went for a walk along Hollywood and around Runyon Canyon instead. This gave great views of LA an also was a bit of a baptism of fire on the heat front, with temperatures reaching 87 Degrees (31 Celsius) meaning we powered through our water reserves and got slight heat stroke.
