I visited Fort Lauderdale, as I was staying with a friend for a few days – it definitely pays to have a local take you around and it really helps having a car. America in general is still a very car dependent country and although the Miami public transport system is good, the road and highway network is fantastic and a car, as well as fuel, is dirt cheap compared to Australia. My friend has an Audi S5 ...
