Spent the day looking around South Beach. The open air Lincoln road mall and the beach. There were gecko's and an iguana tied to a tree. Swam at South beach, the water was clear and warm.

... rain was really heavy, but also laden with sand it had picked up with the help of gale force winds, so not only were we soaked but we were covered in sand. About two minutes after we got back as we were still towelling dry it stopped. Sometimes in life timing goes your way, other times....it just doesn't.

When we arrived in Miami last night at 10pm it was 29 degrees C and quite humid. We picked up our apartment keys and arrived at our 15th floor apartment in Brickell Ave around 11pm, the drive a short distance from the airport.
