    ... are big and powerful, but the kids just jump in and have a whale of a time.

    There are surfers, kite surfers, skateboarders, joggers, dog walkers and cyclists everywhere, together with Baywatch style lifeguards in beach houses patrolling the coast.

    Already feeling very relaxed and happy to be here.

    After Phil and the kids go to the supermarket, we have supper in the front garden around the fire pit.
