      ... slapstick comedy and cheering to support our pirate. It had everything a good pirate show should have. Pirates, damsels in distress, good guys, bad guys and fall guys. There was plenty of audience involvement and the actual meal was a bit of an aside. A good couple of hours and after some up close and personal photos at the end with the cast we made our way home and settled in for a good nights sleep.       Sunday I caught up with some old friends for lunch and enjoyed a nice drive up to Rancho Bernardo, where I lived (learnt to live?) back in 2008. On Monday I headed off to visit the grave of my old Uncle Jim, who died earlier this year at the age of 92. He had served for many years in the US Navy, so he was buried at the National Cemetery with all the other Veterans.

      ... had a 30 second lesson on paddling and we were off! Didn't fall off the kayak getting through the waves which I was proud of especially as a couple in a double kayak fell a soon as they hit a wave. Me and Dad had single Kayaks which are harder work but easier to control on your own. I bloody loved kayaking it was so relaxing but still felt like you were getting some exercise, I would happily do it again tomorrow!! Paddled out to the caves and saw dozens of sealions on ...

      ... we ended up having beers at his mates house before heading over the border for burritos. Luckily I had my passport with me, otherwise I could have been in some ****. My first house cleaning shift was alright. I've never been much of a cleaner but hey for free rent I don't mind.
