    ... and they happen very fast with little warning. Also the roads are quite empty, so not much help about should anything happen. So my plans for a wild night out were thwarted (cheers Dolly) as I would be driving the next morning. Still had a few at a bear bar called Pecs. Nice bar, and great patio. Saw a tranny there that would make your hair curl! Scary Mary's. Will definitely go back to San Diego at some point and explore ...

    Woke up to fantastic news via email that we had had a good offer on the house. I was down by the pool so bolted up the stairs to wake Gang to tell him, then we accepted the offer - yippee.....     We arranged to meet Hannah Campbell at college, so we swang by UCSD. (This is not easy - winding roads got us lost and turned around.)
