      • After we were done selling shirt at UCLA Bailey and I left to San Diego. Our next stop on the tour is Point Loma.
      • We drove 134 miles of pure agony! The traffic was horrible.
      • Although it was a super irritation drive, I though to myself about how blessed I was to be going on this amazing trip with on ...

      April 23rd

We woke up at 5 am to get a good jump on the desert and our goal of Barrel Springs by days end, a short 16.7 miles away. Trail was underfoot by 6 am and we put the hammer down, averaging a solid 3 mph pacing. We cruised all day long with extremely cooperative weather. Overcast sun and strong breezes mean we didn't overheat or over exert ourselves at any point today. Shocked and satisfied were the themes of today as we pulled into Barrel Springs at only 1 pm! ...

      Cooler day at SeaWorld

A travel blog entry by smithsbjb on Oct 09, 2013

... any of us, we jumped into a taxi and headed off to SeaWorld. When we arrived the clouds were darker and a few spots of rain began to fall. We had our photo taken and found a map of the park before working out which live shows we'd like to see. The staff in client services were very helpful and made some good suggestions regarding timing and making sure we didn't miss the Shamu (whale) show later in the afternoon. Brad and I thought this would be a good end to ...
