    ... we can’t see a speck of land – all we can see is the white caps from our first floor window) just north of Los Angeles. Having traveled some 1059 nautical miles from Vancouver we are anxious to make land tomorrow so that we can tour downtown San Diego and pick up a few supplies presently not available on board. Traveling under our Canadian passports we will need to clear U.S. Customs in the morning before being allowed to disembark at 08:00 a.m.

    ... gas lamp and see what fun is going on in San Diego this fine evening... a few stops here and there and a few drinks, but honestly, we are not really feeling the vibe and we call it a night and walk back to the hotel.. at least it is a nice night out and it's been a good time on the coast.
    Well, we have a bit of a drive tomorrow as we head into the desert... so time to retire to bed .... Over and out on a great California time!

    ... On a 120 m hill the lighthouse could be seen for up to 32 miles. We explored the Keepers house where we saw the lamp and how the mirrors worked. In the lighthouse we had a glance in the living room, kitchen, and bedrooms and up the ladder to the lamp… they had a nice view for living, but for sure remote.

    ... rocks. In the afternoon, we went on a bus tour to Tijuana, Mexico. What an experience!!!!! We saw the area on a bus and then the tour guide dropped us in the main street to shop!!!!
