    ... get a good look at all of the things that are here. It is a veritable city unto itself. As mentioned above, they have an army of employees. We constantly saw their vehicles going by; security guards, cleaning crews, RV repair vehicles, trailer moving trucks and more.

    We passed through a few more small towns along the way. We found this entire area, and really, all of the areas we have visited in South Carolina to be very inviting and beautiful. I don't think I would want to call it home on a full time basis, because of the heat and humidity in the summer, but it is a great place to visit.

Coming down the back road I kept seeing signs for BikeFest so I looked it up and it starts on Friday May 8th til the 17th, then on Memorial Weekend is Black Bike week. I hate to see this town during the busy summer season or during BikeFest as it is slow moving and packed. ...

    Peggy wanted to see the student exhibit at the Horry Georgetown Technical College in Conway. That was our first stop. We then did a walking tour of the historic part of Conway. Conway does not contain as old buildings as Georgetown. It was still a nice quiet walk.
