I've just popped over to Malta for a day & a bit (as you do!) to say a quick hello / goodbye to my parents (and bring them lots of goodies over for the last time in a while).

The weather is a little warmer than the UK, but not as warm as it's going to be in a week's time (ha ha ha).

... you come to Malta you either love it or hate it and that there is nothing in between - well, those are two very extreme emotions and I just don't feel that passionate about the island either way - so I guess I am living proof that the statement isn't true. Do I LIKE it - yes, there is something about the island that I like, definitely the friendliness of the people here and the more relaxed attitude to rules, but would I come here again - no, probably not.
