    We stopped at the port of Corfu. The only way to really get around the island is to take an excursion. At least it was for us. We were going to see a Monastery in the village of Palaiokastritsa and to the village of Gastouri to visit the 19th century Achilleion Palace.
    The places were very beautiful and again the excursions didn't disappoint ...

    Our long journey back to Italy began with hopping in the bus, the two hour ferry ride, and then, of course, the 15 hour ferry ride back to the mainland!
