... and finally a wine after 8pm when it was allowed. We had Henna tattoos, bit of a worry because mine is up my hand and it won't come off for 10 days so will be there for work, oops! It was late and I had arrived at the airport on the Asian side of Istanbul, so my public transport options were limited. There was a single bus that went to Taksim square, but for a few euros more I could get a shuttle bus that would drop me at the hostel. Yesterday we had a more laid back day with class 9-11 followed by some free time. Lindsay and I took this as an opportunity to try something new--bamboo weaving. We took a tuk-tuk about 10 minutes outside of town and were met by a craftsman and another woman from England who joined in on the class. I opted to make a basket while Lindsay made a placemat. Afterwards we met the group for class and smoothies by the river, and I went to the night market one last time for some final gifts. ...

... puts his foot down to get to the top of a high dune and you just hope the car ahead isn't waiting over the peak. After a stop to watch the sun set over the desert we end up at a 'Bedouin encampment' with camels to ride, henna painting, sheesha pipes, and a desert meal while resting on cushions at low tables.
