... his 19 meter Speed 3 Flysurfer foil and he did just fine on that. For the past few days, Brian has taken the straps from his frankenboard so that requires more skill. Brian is definitely learning new things.

While I listened to my audiobook and watched Brian, I also watched the TC Kiteboarding instructors do their tricks. These guys are good - doing triple turn aerials and landing them gracefully with no tea ...

... you really going to take video of your washing?" I asked, trying not to sound too stunned.

"Sure am buddy" replied Mr Executive. "It's just to prove to the folks back home that our washing machine isn't so loud after all".

Wow. The long winter evenings must just spin by with all the conversations with neighbours about the loudness of household equipment.

Fortunately my laundry was done and I was out of there, but as I left I passed Mr ...

This last spot was a small cove with various rock formations. The first thing I noticed though was all of the conch shells. I asked Capt. Kevin if I were allowed to take one and he said I could, if it were dead. So I happily dove down and grabbed a shell. And back at ...

Barracudas are a little bit scary, especially when they hang out by your dive boat.

Scuba diving, touted as the water-sport to first put Turks and Caicos on the tourist radar, is one of those hobbies that is time-consuming, expensive and requires you to be up at the break of dawn. Admittedly, I usually have to be awake only around 7:30 AM, but that is my personal equivalent of the break of dawn. However, it's also an activity that you ...

... they had lost an anchor and would be diving around to find it. We circled back and came alongside again. Apparently, when we had stopped the first time, someone had set the anchor and Captain Sterling was unaware. He motored away, the anchor dragged a bit, and then the nylon anchor rode snapped.
