... water feature that no longer flowed, and those high and impressive trees. Returning to the pool the girls lured me into a trap, Rosina squirting me with the water pistol. George returned to his swimming. Lounging by the pool was pleasant as I watched over George. As for Ellie she had to get on with her maths study, sitting in the conservatory where she could pick up wifi. Every day she had to revise ready to gain her maths degree at the end of the spring. ... or at least that is what I told him.

Menorca is well worth a visit, there is plenty to keep you busy for at least a week and with our few days on the island we did tick off all four corners and criss crossed the island. The capital, Mahon (or Mao) was a bit of a disappointment although the Xoriguer Gin Distillery did seem to let you taste as much as you wanted - a shame to be driving so made do with a useable souvenir purchase for use at home. Day 39

... massive bruise on her bum. We continued around the island looking at caves, waterholes and private beaches. Fighting the wind to get back to the beach we realised we were to late and missed bus home so we got to spend a little more time at the beach then a massive hike up to the bus stop. We walked home getting pizza/pasta on the way then played drinking games for the rest of the ...
